Children's author Tami Lewis Brown visits the Breckinridge County Public Library on December 2nd, 2011

Tami Lewis Brown discussed the process behind the creation of “Soar, Elinor,” an illustrated account of pioneering aviatrix Elinor Smith and “The Map of Me,” a new Young Adult novel based on Tami’s experiences growing up in Kentucky. The event was attended by a number of local citizens and marked the first opening of the Breckinridge County Public Library to the public.

The new library’s grand opening is scheduled for spring 2012. The state-of-the-art-facility will boast a great deal of new resources for the community of Hardinsburg, Kentucky.
