The Hiseville Fire Board approached Civic in June 2012 to assist them in preparing an application for community Development Block Grant funds to build a new fire station for their small community. Civic, the Fire Chief, and most of the volunteer fire fighters worked together to devise a program, budget and preliminary plan for their project. In February 2013 Hiseville was awarded a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant to build their station. Civic started working with alll the volunteer fireman along with the Fire Chief, often meeting late at night so all the firemen could attend the planning meetings after they worked their regular day jobs. This building is currently under construction and looks to open in early 2014.
