August Moon marked the beginning of the relationship between Civic and Chef Peng S. Looi. August Moon Restaurant was the first commercial building in Louisville to make use of Insulated Concrete Forms, giving the façade an “opaque, austere look” that gives way to an interior that is “…both spacious and intimate, modern and comfortable.”
