Norton Commons Town Architect

Working closely with Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company, designers of the Norton Commons master plan, Jill Lewis Smith took the role of Town Architect for Norton Commons. While serving as a regional liaison to DPZ, Civic's responsibilities included the approval of classical details, location of buildings in the urban fabric, and the monitoring of construction for quality control purposes.

Additionally, Civic designed and oversaw the construction of the community pool facilities, pool house, and a number of unique houses.
