New facilities for the Hancock County Public Library are currently under construction in Hawesville, Kentucky. The building's design makes extensive use of Insulated Concrete Forms, and incorporates the massive nature of ICF construction to acheive a stately and permanent appearance.
Although the building’s style reflects traditional sensibilities, the new Hancock County Public Library will boast state-of-the-art amenities and technologies. Features include a large meeting space, children’s and young adult’s areas, a bookmobile garage, and private reading rooms.
